Monthly Meetups

What is a Meetup

A meetup is a monthly in-person (or online) gathering of people interested in talking about Python and meeting others in the community. The events are free and have some food and drinks provided. They usually consist of a time to chat and catch up with at least one talk given on a topic related to Python.

We use Meetup.com to facilitate these meetups. If you’d like to come to any of the meetups please RSVP (free) so we can get a good idea of numbers for catering.

We are always on the lookout people wanting to host a meetup in their city. If that’s you please let us know! The following list is in geographical order from North to South across NZ.

North Island

Auckland Meetup

The Auckland Meetup group has been running a mix of online only and hybrid (in-person and online) events since the original Covid lockdowns and if you are not close to any of the groups mentioned here, then their online option is a great choice for you.

Please help us out by RSVPing for the event ahead of time as it helps us plan food and drinks for everyone.
